Activity 2.
The respiratory system is only part of the process of respiration. Respiration refers to the process used by animals to make energy in their cells. We breathe in Oxygen. This is taken to our cells where it mixes with glucose (broken down from our food) to create energy, water and carbon dioxide. The body uses the energy and we breathe out the water vapour and carbon dioxide. Rearrange these words to make a scientific equation about the process of respiration.
